Questions
Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
$400 per contract-to-close file in most states, $500 in California, with a $500 minimum monthly spend. Billed per file as they close.
Do I need my broker’s approval?
Usually not for a coordinator you pay for yourself, but brokerages differ. We work inside your brokerage’s systems and follow its compliance requirements, so most brokers have no objection. Check your independent contractor agreement if you are unsure.
Are you US-based?
Yes. Empower is a team of US-based real estate operations professionals — not an offshore data-entry shop.
What if I only close a few files a year?
The $500 monthly minimum is the practical floor. If you close fewer than about fifteen files a year, tell us your volume on the contact form and we will be straight with you about whether this makes sense.
Can you do my listings too?
Yes — MLS entry, listing prep, and keeping listings accurate are quoted separately. See MLS listing coordination.

What does transaction coordination cost for a single agent?
Contract-to-close coordination is billed per closed file, with a monthly minimum that bills whether or not a file is open, no setup fee and no long-term contract; current per-file rates are published on our pricing guide, and they are higher in California. Listing coordination and compliance review are quoted separately.
Do I need a brokerage-sized contract to use Empower?
No. The pricing is built so one agent or a small team can use it. Send an executed contract and a US-based coordinator runs it to close — no brokerage agreement and no onboarding call required.
What happens after I send a contract?
A US-based coordinator opens the file, tracks every deadline, chases missing documents, handles client communication, and coordinates closing — leaving the file audit-ready. Three steps, and no onboarding call is required to start.
