Our Story
Empower was founded on the mission of our CEO Keith Dunham to minimize the pain points of transactions for agents, teams, and brokerages across the country.
Keith, along with our other Founder Jenn McKinley, ran the Homecity Real Estate Brokerage which sold to Better Homes & Gardens in 2018. While there, they built out a Transaction Coordination team to support their agents, closing around 200 transactions per month. Keith also created a lead generation process at Homecity that, with the assistance of Ben Rubenstein, David Rubin, and Michael Lam, became Opcity – later selling to Realtor.com in 2018.
Bringing together experience in brokerage, transactions and tech, they knew they could build solid solutions for real estate professionals. And that’s where Empower began!
Today, Empower serves over 600 agents and has a stellar team of Transaction Coordinators. We are focused on building strategic systems, backed by the best TCs in the business – all to help your business grow!
